Why Transparency Is Important: Increase Partnership Builders and Businesses
Since June this year, we have been working with a select group of makers and business groups throughout the Instagram business community to test our new "Paid for Partnership" sign. And now, after months of gathering feedback from this trial release, we are pleased to announce that access to this tool will be extended to more of our partners on Instagram — with a global launch that is gradually being released in the coming months.
Not only is the expansion of the sign "Partnership paid by" more clearly conveying when there is a commercial relationship between creators and businesses, but it also allows further access to Insights, expanding the brand safety with partner approval and implementing Instagram branded content policies for the first time. This new policy is the same as Facebook's latest policy announced on March 30, 2017.
Community Means Clarity
Relationships established by people on buy Instagram likes UK are what make our 700 million + people community very interesting. This is where people all over the world gather to find and build relationships with their interests. And with more than 80% of people joining the business, brands are an important part of the Instagram community. 2 Therefore, makers (influential figures & publishers) and businesses often join forces to take advantage of the Instagram community that is full of enthusiasm with branded content. As more partnerships form on Instagram, it's important to make sure the community can easily find out when someone they follow is paid to send content.
In the coming weeks, you will begin to see a new "Paid partnership with" sign in posts and stories. This feature will help creators communicate with their followers more clearly when they work with a business in a paid partnership. This level of transparency is not only beneficial for our community, but it also allows creators and businesses to track and share insights about branded content submissions.
Simplified Marking and Insights
By using the new "Paid partnership with" sign in organic content submissions and Instagram Stories, creators and businesses will now be able to disclose their partnerships faster than before, maintaining overall authenticity.
When partners use this flag, they will have access to Insights to track precisely the performance of their branded content and stories. Creators will continue to see metrics on Instagram Insights, and business partners will see metrics (likes and comments) reach and interactions together in Facebook Page Insights. For Instagram Stories, business partners who are tagged will have a 14-day time period to view the following metrics: reach, knock forward, backward knock, reply, and exit.
Forward
Launching the sign "Partnership paid with" is the first step in ensuring the transparency of paid partnerships on Instagram. As we continue to launch this new feature to more creators and businesses over the coming months, we will be able to better understand how our community engages with this content.
